Description

ATA Employment Solutions is accepting applications for an International Sales Manager for a well established manufacturing facility in Jackson, TN. This position will manage global sales and marketing activities for company products and will be responsible for increasing business with existing customers and finding new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience with custom built equipment. Experience with tube mills is a plus. To be considered for this position, you must live in Jackson, TN or the surrounding area or you must be willing to relocate.

FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary: $95,000 annually with bonus potential
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, short & long term disability, vacation, & paid holidays
Travel Requirements: Required to travel domestically and internationally to meet with customers or vendors
Location: Must live in Jackson, TN or the surrounding area or must be willing to relocate

Education:
Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university or a technical degree in Engineering

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Estimate equipment and tooling costs to sales price
  • Review project costs
  • Review project timelines
  • Release shop orders to production
  • Communicate with customers, company team, and vendors
  • Communicate with inventory control and shop personnel about issues in machine build
  • Report weekly sales of current customer orders and future orders
  • Update management and sales team weekly on activities
  • Write professional quotations with specifications, etc.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to meet with customers or vendors
  • Prepare sales forecasts
  • Prepare sales presentations
  • Keep management updated on projects
  • Process sales orders as needed
  • Release orders to production to meet spare parts sales orders
  • Manage trade shows and advertising activities
  • Manage company website and update when needed
  • Manage sales department personnel
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as requested by company management

Required:
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in any engineered product sales 
  • Experience writing professional quotations
  • Understand machine design
  • Experience with custom built equipment
  • Advanced math aptitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project
  • Read and understand drawings and specifications
  • Familiar with Internet Explorer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism
  • Must be customer focused and able to juggle multiple tasks
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred but not required
  • Experience with tube mills preferred but not required
  • Experience with EstiTrack inventory and manufacturing software is a plus but not required
