Description

ATA Employment Solutions is accepting applications for a full-time experienced Robotic Welder for a trailer manufacturer in Union City, TN. We are looking for experienced people who know how to work in a team environment that can provide high quality performance. This is a Technologically Advanced Integrated manufacturing facility producing a high-quality product with new state of the art manufacturing equipment. 

Salary: $17-$20/hour with competitive benefits
Schedule: M - F 6am-2:30pm. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be able to pass a welding test before employment is considered. Must be able to understand quality standards, methods, and reporting as required. All candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing all aspects of welding work
  • Safely operate heavy equipment and follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintains all aspects of workplace organization
  • Ensures compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all company policies to eliminate and or reduce exposure to liability
  • Special projects or work as assigned by the supervisor
  • Ability to utilize welding equipment and processes specified by the company
  • Maintain and calibrate welding equipment
  • Blueprint reading; ability to read and interpret drawing for dimensions and weld patterns to determine quality adherence to engineering requirements
  • Ability to read process, procedure and instruction manuals
  • Math/Measuring; demonstrate ability to count, add, subtract fractions and decimals; Read a tape measure to 1/16” increments

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience as a Robot Editor or Programmer. (Yaskawa Motoman preferred)
  • 1+ years previous welding experience and familiarity with GMAW processes
  • 5+ years experience in an industrial environment
  • Driver's License
